Crusade by Holly May - Epic Fantasy Viking Style Violin Original Song
This is my 3rd original violin song ‘Crusade’. This is, by far, my favourite original yet. I was heavily inspired by vikings / pirates and movie soundtracks such as Pirates of The Caribbean by Hans Zimmer and How To Train Your Dragon by John Powell and Last Of The Mohicans which influenced my love for the fantasy orchestral style. I self composed, produced and recorded this song (with help from my dad who recorded the video). I really hope that you enjoy it!

I have played this song for many years but recently changed up my backing track to a more ‘rock’ sounding track which is actually the version you hear in the Rocketman movie. Hey! I thought I’d make this vlog video on how my street performances went in Santa Monica in March. Performing on the pier was the most difficult performance in my life because I was convinced that my bow was going to fly away in the wind 😱 However, I loved performing, despite the wind and rain 😆 Santa Monica has a great system for street performing and from the weekend I was there, it seemed to work really well and so it is my favourite place I have street performed so far ❤️🇺🇸🎻
