The NAMM Show is one of the biggest music gear events in the world, and it’s an amazing place to discover new violin technology, electric violins, and unique instruments. From violin demos to live playing and testing new gear, there’s always something interesting happening around the show floor: violins, electric violins, violin performances, and seeing new instruments from the NAMM Show and more!
What does a violinist’s day look like? Well here is a peek into one of my busiest days yet as a violinist, I had 2 gigs to get to and from: first, playing at a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception, then to a unique birthday party Theo Mayne from The Traitors. Although it was busy, it was a lot of fun so I hope you enjoy taking a peek into my day as a violinist.
I've always wanted to attend the NAMM Show and last month, we were able to go for the first time and I loved it! We started by meeting my Uncle Dan Palmer, who lives in California, from the band Zebrahead,. We watched a 7 string electric violin performance by Mia Asano and then looked at all of the new gear at NAMM. There were guitars, pianos, keyboards, microphones, violins, a low latency Lutefish streaming product and my Dad sung with Guitaro5000 (Reggie)

Hey! I thought I’d make this vlog video on how my street performances went in Santa Monica in March. Performing on the pier was the most difficult performance in my life because I was convinced that my bow was going to fly away in the wind. However, I loved performing, despite the wind and rain. Santa Monica has a great system for street performing and from the weekend I was there, it seemed to work really well and so it is my favourite place I have street performed so far!
