Here’s my violin street performance of “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen, played live while busking. I love bringing classic rock songs to the violin, and this one is always fun to share with people passing by. Hope you enjoy this instrumental cover as much as I enjoyed playing it.
We met this amazing street performer in Nashville and as we were walking after he made an impromptu rap for my brother, he asked if it was a violin case on my back and if I could play something before we left. So I set up my violin and we did this impromptu improvised song on the spot right there and then. I promise, this was not staged or pre-planned in any way, just a real fun moment that I’m excited to share with you.
I watched How To Train Your Dragon so much when I was younger and loved it (and still do!) As the How To Train Your Dragon live action remake has just come out, I thought it would be fitting to play one of the most well tracks from one of my favourite movie soundtracks. I filmed this when I was at Santa Monica Pier because only a short walk away was Venice Beach (which we visited also) and some famous scenes of the Barbie movie were filmed very close by at Venice Beach so I wanted to have my performance close to it and patiently waited to post it on the anniversary of the movie.
